Leaves On A Stream
LEAVES ON A STREAM EXERCISE: Below are three videos to guide you through this exercise. The goal of Leaves on a Stream is to identify the thoughts that come into your mind and to allow them to float gently down the stream on a leaf. The exercise is designed to help facilitate DIFFUSION OF YOUR THOUGHTS. In other words, deactivating any thought, positive, negative or neutral. Facilitating the conscious flow of your thoughts down the stream can then be directed at facilitating and deactivating negative thought patterns. Our survival wiring, wires negative thoughts and thinking patterns. Our developmental task and skill is to learn how to not give any power or meaning to negative thought patterns that are no longer serving us.
